Cancellation policy

This Cancellation Policy is standard for all bookings unless the hotel you have requested has Cancellation Deadlines of its own. Any policies notified by the Hotel shall always make priority over the policy stated herein. If policies of the requested Hotel are different, you will be notified by VoyagerPath.com in your confirmation E-mail and in your Personal Folder on our website.

Note: Voyager-Path.com will not charge you any cancellation fees for rooms that have not been confirmed.

If your booking item has been rejected back to you, it doesn’t need to be cancelled.

However, once your room has been confirmed, you are subject to the following cancellation policies.

 

Hotel Policies:

Cancellation policies vary from hotel to hotel but are implemented by hotels to avoid holding a room available for a guest who will not use it. You must submit hotel rooms or be liable for charges.

If you do not cancel your reservation within the allotted cancellation period, the hotel will charge a penalty (usually 1 night room and tax) to the credit card given to reserve the room.

In some hotels cancellation deadlines can be announced as a certain date if you book your hotel long before your actual arrival.

Some hotels hold their Cancellation deadlines as 3, 4, 8 days prior to arrival in any case, not depending on the date of actual booking.

These deadlines are held for the reason of peak periods, various at each hotel or depending on particular hotel availability for some special period when some events take place or other.

Should you like to make Cancel request when Cancellation deadlines have already made effective, full charges shall be obligatory.

Note: Even if there are no Cancellation deadlines your booking cannot be cancelled 1 day prior to your arrival at the hotel or on the very day of your arrival at the hotel. Should you prefer to cancel your booking on the day of your arrival or 1 day before your arrival, you will be liable for a charge equal to 1 night stay at the hotel booked.

If cancelled after Cancellation Deadlines are in force full cost of stay may be charged + Tax if required by the hotel requested.

Please be sure to review all cancellation policies that apply, as well as fees that you may incur as a result of a cancellation.

Note: Cancellation policies are related to the hotel check in time, not your projected arrival time. If your hotel cancel policy lists a 24, 48 or 72 hour cancellation policy it means you must cancel by 4PM local hotel time of the date in question.

Each booking is cancelled individually.

To cancel your reservation you should go to your Personal Folder on VoyagerPath.com, choose the booking you need to cancel and hit the button “Cancel this booking”. After that you will see if the current status of your booking changed.

Cancellation Deadlines Notification:

As soon as we get information about Cancellation Deadlines from the hotel, we shall be notifying you by E-mail you provide to VoyagerPath.com 3 times:

  • Immediately upon hotel confirmation: we will advise you of the date and charge required by the hotel reserved when Cancellation Deadlines come in force;
  • 3 days prior to Cancellation Deadlines coming in force: we will make the last warning for you to cancel your reservation without cancellation fees;
  • On the day of Cancellation Deadlines’ becoming valid: we will notify you that the time of your possible cancellation without fees is up, and advise of the cancellation fee you will be charged in case you cancel the booking.

 

When your booking is cancelled, you will get a message from our site with necessary details of your cancellations if any or simple information that your booking has been cancelled.

When Cancellation is impossible:

In some cases cancellation is impossible. This happens when:

  • you had already stayed at the hotel. In this case you will get back a note stating “Cancel denied”;
  • your Cancel request is late and Cancellation Deadlines have already come into force;
  • when the hotel states the fact that you hadn’t shown up at the hotel (NO SHOW). In this case you will be liable for charge equal to 1 night stay at the hotel requested.

Note: If in this case Cancellation Deadlines had already taken effect you will be liable for full charge.
