Next to the State Highway and the Haast River. Within the World Heritage area and at the lower end of the Southern Alps.
Following a refurbishment programme in 2004 the standard rooms are now very well presented. All rooms are ensuite and centrally heated. all have TV''s and in house video channels, tea/coffee making facilties. All rooms are shower only because of the remote location.
The Waitoto Restaurant provides a 3 course buffet dinner every night during the high season. In the low season meals are provided to the request of the guests. There is also a house bar, cosy and defnitiely a place to relax, unwind and let the West Coast hospitality take over.
A single storey building, designed to minimise the impact on the pristine local environment.

Fantastic scenery and rugged countryside. One of the more remote areas of New Zealand''s South island. Haast is a favourite of those wanting to get away from the main tourist destinations.
