The hotel is situated to the northern edge of the city centre, in a vibrant district but within walking distance of all central buildings, tourist attracions and key locations. It has great access to local transport, with the tube station of Rådmansgatan and Odenplan being only a few blocks away in each direction, while the local area offers an exciting and trendy environment of restaurants and bars of all types and styles.
The rooms take advantage of their high ceilings and period features to feel grand and spacious. Each is traditionally designed with thick curtains and textiles of rich colours and beautiful sanded wood floors, while the furniture and paintings in each room are classical and stylish at the same time. The en-suite bathrooms are simple and white in design and are in average condition.
On the first floor overlooking the street is a huge palacial room with a bar to one end and cosy circular tables filling the remaining space. Breafast is served in this room while during the rest of the day a relaxing drink can be taken, soaking in the atmosphere, or looking out of the tall elegant windows.
The hotel is a refurbished town house from the mid 19th Century and most features classic of the period still remain, with tall windows and original ornate stonework.
The entrance to the hotel is from street level but the rooms and lobby are located on the first floor. Entering into the lobby feels like entering a drawing room in a stately home. The room is furnished with comfortable leather chairs, bookcases, large mirrors and an open fireplace, while to the right of this room is a small curved check-in desk.
